“If your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it from you. It is better for you to enter life with one eye, than to have two eyes and be cast into the fiery hell.” Matthew 18:9

As we traverse the paths of life, we often find ourselves being discouraged by events thrown our way, from a long-term disease to the lose of someone close to us.
“Why?” we ask ourselves.
“It’s just the cards life dealt you,” the world replies, “You just got a case of bad luck.”
These answers echoing in the back of our mind as we continue the journey with this dulled and skewed perspective of our own story.

Now, this is what I want you to do.

Take your eye(your old perception of life) and chuck it aside, because what I am about to tell you, as my Father over these past three and a half years has been trying to tell me, is going to radically alter your perception of your journey in this life.

You are like a seashell, a treasure on the sand. But, before you can become that treasure, you, like gold, have to be cleared of impurities. As in the Book of Job, our Father, leading you every step of the way, will allow you to be battered by the waves of life and refined by the sands of time. And when you finally wash ashore, no matter how bruised and broken you may feel, you are still a magnificent treasure in the Father’s eyes.

All this month, I want to share with you some tools and ways I have learned, through my experiences, to view life from my Father’s perspective, so that you can apply this radical perception to your own journey.

Are you ready?

Let’s begin.
